The game came and went. No "blimp" sightings. The radar report is as good as it gets in terms of evidence for this subject, IMO.

Well you're assuming the visual sightings and descriptions of 'light shows' etc. and the 2,000 mph radar reports are in fact caused by the same object(s). That's a pretty contrived conflation it seems and very self serving to some 'phatasmagorical' alien explanation. Why connect the two? Even if visible, an object travelling 2,000 mph would only be visible for a short time (seconds) before likely disappearing from view.

For the moment, set aside the radar business and deal with the visuals on the night of January 8th, 2008 that the Stephensville reports include, which is what I was addressing. Many of the descriptions point to the advertising blimp that I suggested was the cause. It'll be back in the Dallas area this week for the Super Bowl. I stand by my predictions of more sitings this week, weather permitting.

Do some homework if you REALLY are looking for an explanation, earthly or otherwise. Was there an advertising blimp moored in Dallas that week for the Cowboys Giants game January 13th 2008? Who owned it if there was? What would such a blimp look like in daylight? Or if viewed by unwary viewers at a distance of a few miles at night with lights blinking and scrolling, what would it look like? Ask yourself Angelia, what do you imagine a large translucent blimp with bright programmable lights on each side would look like at night from miles away. They do exist and do fly at night all the time and are likely a chronic source of 'UFO' reports which is what I believe the January 8th 2008 sightings were.

Iirc there are some videos of such blimps on YouTube taken 'zoomed out' where they looked like magical UFOs then 'zoomed in' where it's clearly a blimp. I've seen these objects numerous times living in a big East Coast city with Major League Baseball and NFL football teams - Monday Night Football and playoff coverage invariably brings in these blimps. They can appear startling from a distance but closer, very man-made none the less.

Let me add, I do believe the Universe is full of life. However I've never seen, read or viewed online anything that suggests real evidence of alien craft. Ignoring the obvious hoaxes, it never rises above anecdotal descriptions or untestable or reproducible data like 2,000 mph radar hits or really bad video.

Thanks for responding.

Btw - as a side note and matter of evidenciary principle. A pilot, no matter how 'experienced' he or she is, claiming to estimate the size of an object based on lights at night, not knowing what it is or how far away it is, is simply ludicrous and irresponsible - I don't care how many hours they have in aircraft. It's like trying to guess the distances to the stars by how bright they are. I would totally discount any such size estimates as worthless to any investigation.

Ed, I guess you didn't read the radar report. What blimp do you know of that can travel at speeds of 2,000 mph? Sorry, but I think you are misinformed and not educated on the facts of Stephenville.

Regarding the January 8th 2008 'UFO' Stephensville TX. The observations sited were consistent with a nightime appearance of an illuminated blimp seen from a distance that was sent to the DFW area to provide 'aerials' for TV coverage of the Cowboys Giants playoff football game at Texas Stadium that weekend (January 13th, 2008). It usually moors at a smaller local airport a few days before game day but may have been kept at DFW back then?It should re-appear again in the DFW area again this week for the Super Bowl. They usually gives 'rides' to media, celebrities and others in the days (and nights) preceeding the game.

Weather permitting and clear skies I predict you'll get a similar suite of sitings as in 2008 of the UFO or more accurately the blimp. They'll be hundrds of sitings for obvious reasons, It can be seen for miles around. However the closer you are to it the more obvious it's true nature becomes. From a few miles away it something to see.

Typically these blimps now have an internally illuminated transluscent skin and a huge array of programmable colored lights on both sides that are capable of a spectacular light show close up and from a great distance advertising some product or another. I've seen it here on the East Coast numerous times and from a distance, with lights flashing, changing color it makes a spectacular apparition - very UFO like but still a blimp.

Sorry but I think you were skunked back in 2008. Let's see what happens.

The question was asked at the conference (I was there) : "Why so long before releasing this binary code information ?"
Penniston was not able to give a clear answer. I would like you Angelia to ask him again that question, and give him more time to answer. Here he is at the conference, trying to reply :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gB9pnL4fSH0

+Why releasing now ?
+Why not releasing everything ?

thanks.

With all these suspected meteorites whizzing around out there and crashing through roofs, hitting vehicles and dogs and even bouncing up to hit a person in the chest, and yet very few of these space rocks result in being confirmed as meteorites by the "scientific community." Now I don't know about you, but if I got hit by a rock from above I think I'd look up to see if an aircraft were flying overhead, if only to figure out which airline to sue, but notice that the possibility of an aircraft dropping a present from above is only brought up later by an academic who weren't there at the time. The geology professor confidently states that it's not a meteorite when in reality the only confidence he can express is that it doesn't look like anything from the asteroid belt, but is the asteroid belt the extent of our solar system? In reality, we know almost nothing about the composition of a trillion comets that have up until now, apparently avoided hitting the earth. To date, science can't point to a single scientifically accepted comet impact site or material on earth. And have you noticed how frequently these metallic-iron space rocks turn out to be "industrial slag"? What, is there a Spacely Sprockets hidden somewhere out there in low earth orbit dumping slag and chunks of iron into the upper atmosphere?

Here's an idea: how about an international team to catalog and analyze every meteorite fall regardless of suspected origin just on the outside chance we're not as smart as we think we are. Scientists are real big on skepticism when it comes to discounting the other guy's facts, when in reality, the scientific method properly applied would do just the opposite: it would reject the theory that doesn't fit the facts. But then again, maybe the smartest scientists don't go into geology. (Geology may be for theoretical physicists what business administration is for engineers.) Anyway, if a rock with fusion crust of a type not indigenous to the area is sitting in its own crater next to some smashed up trees, then maybe it deserves a little more scientific attention than condescending dismissal.

So if Corky's rock is indeed limestone, then let's examine the possibilities assuming it's not a hoax. I think there are only two possibilities: 1) that was an earth rock that achieved escape velocity from a large meteorite impact in the past, or 2) it was formed beyond the earth. And why can't a trillion comets composed of largely of water ice (and perhaps also liquid water) create limestone as well or better than a single solitary planet? Perhaps the reason we haven't found any comet impacts to date is that we're dismissing everything that looks terrestrial or potentially man made, when in fact, mother nature is continually throwing hints in the form of meteorites falls.
