Travis Walton on The Joiner Report

Travis Walton BookTravis Walton claims to have been abducted by a UFO on November 5, 1975, while working on a logging crew in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest in Arizona. Walton could not be found, but reappeared after five days of intensive searches. The Walton case received considerable mainstream publicity and remains one of the best-known instances of alleged alien abduction.

In his book The Walton Experience, Walton relates in his own words the best documented account of alien abduction yet recorded, the story of his harrowing ordeal at the hands of silent captors and his return to a disbelieving world of hostile interrogators, exploitative press and self-styled “debunkers.” Travis recounts the struggle to get a fair hearing and confronts his detractors with a stinging rebuttal. He later changed the book’s title to Fire in the Sky. In 1993, it was adapted into film (Tracy Torme screenplay, Robert Lieberman director) with D.B. Sweeney in the role of Walton. James Garner also appeared in the movie.

Walton has been a guest on Weird Travels-Alien Encounters on the Travel Channel, Alternate Realities Conference, Northwest UFO Paranormal Conference, various MUFON engagements, ABC Television Special, and the Bay Area UFO Expo as well as other appearances.

Listening guests are invited to submit specific questions prior to the Sep. 25 broadcast to Joiner at ajoiner@nctv.com.

Reserve Friday, Sep. 25, 9-10 p.m. Central, when “The Joiner Report” interviews Travis Walton on UFO Paranormal Radio, http://ufoparanormalradio.homestead.com

The Biggest UFO Story of 2008!

with

Angelia Joiner

Texas Newspaper Reporter on the Stephenville Lights

 Mothership

Artist’s rendering of eyewitness testimony from three police officers who saw this 600-foot wide monstrosity of an alien craft hovering over Erath County Courthouse in Stephenville, Texas.

Where: Jason’s Deli Conference room, 3473 Poplar Ave, Suite 102, Memphis

When: Saturday, September 19, 2009  Time: 3:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Angelia Joiner will be speaking at the Night Search Speaker Series hosted by Jason’s Deli. Angelia was the Texas newspaper reporter who, in early January of 2008, first broke the story of the Stephenville Lights. This massive UFO sighting (artist’s rendering above) that occurred on January 8, 2008, in Stephenville, Texas, had an electrifying effect on the world media overnight. On the “UFO Richter Scale” — measuring its impact on public consciousness — it possibly registers even higher than the Phoenix Lights UFO event of March 7, 1997. In this presentation, we’ll see how Angelia now views what happened out in that small Texas town. What new information has come to light? What are her latest thoughts about its implications for us all? Attend this event and find out!

Admission fees: $15.00 General Admission / $12.00 MUFON Member / $8.00 Student Discount

Ricky Sorrells on The Joiner Report

Sorrells has been described by James Fox, documentary film producer, as the most credible witness to a UFO he has ever interviewed. And, he’s interviewed hundreds from high ranking military officials to ordinary citizens. Fox features Sorrells in “I Know What I Sawthe new movie he has recently completed and is currently searching for a venue for release.

Sorrells made international news along with others after the now infamous Stephenville, Texas, mass sighting in January of last year. In mid December of 2007, he sighted an object on his property while deer hunting. It was a mere 300 feet above his head. He shared the experience with his co-workers only to be teased and ridiculed until the first story of the mass sighting appeared in the local paper on January 10, 2008, written by Joiner. Sorrells found himself surrounded by his friends carrying copies of the newspaper and asking, “Is this what you saw?” Sorrells described in detail his experience on the Larry King Show, July 11, 2008. He is the only witness to come forward to have a daytime sighting.

“I started looking at it. There were no bolts, no rivets, no welded seams, it was smooth, it was like a barn gray. It had cones protruding, going up into it, bigger at the bottom, going up to smaller at the top. It remained flat and took off at a 45-degree angle. It took off so fast that if I blinked I would have thought it vanished, but I had my eyes on it, and I know it took off flat at a 45-degree angle.”

Sorrells has been hesitant to give interviews after experiencing strange events on his property, including an unknown visitor in the early morning hours, black helicopters flying low enough to spook his cattle, and a phone call from someone identifying themselves as military advising him to cease discussion about the sightings. Although agreeing to be on the Larry King show at the urging of James Fox, he has opted to remain in the background, giving few interviews.

Friday night on “The Joiner Report” Sorrells has agreed to a rare interview to discuss his experiences and how they changed the life of one small-town citizen.
